lamb of god

Crouched beneath the barrier, a sea of humanity to my back, a force of nature in front of me.

Arms and Legs and Bodies and Sweat all cascading down.

My neck and eyes burn from the prolonged position and concentration.

Screams and Chaos and Melody and Precision fill the room.

"There's magic in that camera. Any time I use it, I know I'll see something special."

We were backstage, in between sets, meeting for the first time, finding common ground.

As an artist and photographer himself, I knew he understood.

What I realize now, and didn't know then, was the agreement I've made with this piece of equipment.

Yes, it will perform.

Yes, it will create magic.

As long as I'm willing to try.

I'm thankful for this camera and lens, not always because of the magic in images it provides, but for the magic in experiences it encourages.
